Sydney A. Joyner Partner
She consults and coaches CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and other members of the executive team on organizational structure, executive development, executive roles and responsibilities, executive transition, leadership strategies, culture resets, team development, and change management. Companies experiencing start-up challenges and life cycle changes in launching new products and services and/or transitioning executives to establish a dominant market position have benefited from her services. Prior to her work in the Pacific Northwest, she was a senior executive in the marketing, advertising and public relations arena. Sydney holds undergraduate degrees in education and speech and hearing pathology, with post-graduate work in business management and broadcast communications. She holds an MBA degree from Marylhurst University, with a concentration in organizational development. Sydney has taught as an adjunct professor in the MBA program at Marylhurst
University and Portland State University. She is a frequent lecturer and
presenter on leadership, organizational change, and the development of
the "intellectual assets" within companies. She serves on the
board of the Portland Creative conference, is a member of Oregon Entrepreneurs
Forum, and the Resource Focus Group (a think tank for emerging businesses).
Sydney is a past Board Examiner for the Oregon Quality Award and is an
accredited member in the Public Relations Society of America.
